Our goal was to officially establish the growing brand by pushing out a fully-loaded website and getting the ball rolling on social media for all of our locations. That included writing copy for blog articles, emails, social media posts, and web pages.

We set out the red carpet as our journey to fame began shortly after halftime during Super Bowl LIV when we rocked everyone’s socks off.

My duties weren’t limited to just copywriting projects. Many days, I would be on the scene taking photos and videos that I would edit myself. It was a lot of work, but some projects were especially fun!

What better way to promote a product than to demonstrate it for the world to see? This group of beautiful voices jumped at the chance to show off their incredible vocal cords while showing off the benefit of sporting great speakers in your car’s audio system.
The Race of the Century
The idea for this video started with a couple of toys that I found at the dollar store. I went to a couple of guys from the sales team and said, “Wouldn’t it be funny if you settled a debate with a toy car race?” and things just escalated from there. I couldn’t even review this footage during the editing process without stopping to laugh!

The guys at Sanger Chevrolet Buick GMC love to brag about their sports cars, and so I took that idea as inspiration for this little jab at everyone’s favorite racing movie franchise.

Nothing warms people’s hearts more than a little jingle, especially when they’re in the holiday mood. Gathering the props was fun enough already, but getting members of the team to express their Christmas spirit was an added bonus!
Where one road trip ends, one begins.
Prieto Automotive taught me that the car industry is a fluid and dynamic entity, and that lesson held true as I met every day with entirely new challenges. Working under pressure, taking constructive criticism, and adapting to day-to-day changes strengthened the core of my work ethic in a way that none of my previous jobs had done before. I loaded up this valuable experience into the back of my car and drove off into the sunset. To where? Who knows.
